flowers & love in the air ☁️🎞️💍 details from Mikey & Savannah’s beautiful wedding day. this was my first wedding that I documented solely on film; this caused me to slow down & be more intentional with my shots. from capturing different expressions to emphasizing the dynamic of this beautiful couple — every frame felt thoughtful, honest, and full of meaning. there’s something so special about documenting a wedding this way; trusting the moment, leaning into the imperfections, and preserving memories with a timelessness that only film can give. can’t wait to share more. - E film cameras used: canon eos 3 & nikon f100 documentary style wedding photos, wedding film photographer, Arizona weddings, destination wedding planner, 2027 bride, 35 mm film, dirty boots and messy hair, vsco, wedding florals #dirtybootsmessyhair #vsco #arizonaweddingphotographer

Same roll of film. Two different scanners. Two different looks. Every order that comes through the lab gets scanned on one of two industry-standard machines: the Noritsu HS-1800 or the Fujifilm Frontier SP3000. Both are workhorses you’ll find in pro labs around the world, and each one renders color a little differently. The Noritsu has a warm color bias and darker shadows. Skin tones come out peachy and true to life, and the overall feel is rich and a little more raw. It’s the move for portraits, golden hour, sunsets, and anything where you want warmth and mood to lead. The Frontier has a cool color bias and lifted shadows. Saturation gets a boost, foliage greens go a touch deeper, shadow detail stays open, and the result is that classic, polished film look most people associate with their favorite wedding and editorial work. It’s the move for landscapes, overcast days, and crisp, clean color. Neither one is better. They’re just two different flavors of the same frame, and the right pick usually comes down to the vibe you’re after. Choose your scanner when you drop off, ship in, or roll up to the trailer. No upcharge, no catch, just your roll the way you want it. Swipe through to see the same shots scanned both ways. A few moments on 35mm film from this Oregon elopement because I just can’t get over the magic. Lots more to come, but for now I’ll be in my editing cave obsessing over the gorgeous moments I was honored to capture. #oregonelopementphotographer #travelweddingphotographer #35mmwedding #oregonweddingphotographer #destinationweddingphotography
