A while back I was attending my best mate, Isak’s, sister’s wedding and decided to shoot parts of the wedding with a Super 8 camera and a digital one. Ebba and Eriks whole wedding was already photographed by a super talented wedding photographer during the days prior and during the ceremony. So this video was more like an extra bonus to capture the whole party and the air around the wedding. The wedding was located in Gotland. The Super 8 camera that we used, was bought by Isak at a flea market sale a few years earlier, in Gotland. And actually became one of the reasons we wanted to shoot in Super 8 in the first place. Long story short, a lot of things went wrong with the Super 8 camera footage, a lot. Being able to look at the Super 8 footage, like most film, is a 2-step process. Developing and digitalizing. I told the people who were going to digitalize the footage about all the problems I had encountered. And they said the footage would be blank. A crushing blow when you are filming someone’s wedding haha. But we sent it down to Germany to be developed anyway. Months went by and then the guy from the digitalizing shop calls and says he has received the package of developed film from Germany. It’s all there. In mega excitement, me and Isak start to assemble everything in late November. Isak did all the music himself and completely knocked it out of the park even though we were pretty crunched for time. And now we are both pretty happy to put the video to bed. Isak was able to show it to Ebba and Erik as a Christmas present and wedding present baked into one. Thank you, Ebba and Erik, for an amazing wedding. Mega thanks to my mate Isak for almost ripping his hair out in search of the “umphf”, in the final part of the video.

Here are some of my favourite photos/artworks/videos of 2024. I have been thinking a lot about how I go about creating and my approach to creating the stuff I post on here. There is no real sense to it, there’s no order or planning done before. It always starts with music and those big emotions. Followed by a sort off episode almost haha, an obsessive and frantic focus on that one thing. Scouring my computer up and down of recent and distant images that fit what I am trying to say. Some projects are let go and later swing past my memory months later. But a lot of them make it up on this page, some less worked through than others. But either way, that’s the sort of release part. I get to put the project to bed and show my friends and I never really touch them the same way again. Then the cycle repeats. These photos become a lot more than just posts for me. They serve as placeholders in my head of what that time was like. I feel an immense sense of fulfillment and explosion of emotions when I do these projects. And that feeling has become a sort of compass for me, replacing reason and doubt with curiosity. Sometimes good and sometimes not, nevertheless I hope I never lose it.

Little storytime!! Around 2018 was the time when I bought my first photo editing program called Affinity photo and later that year I e-mailed fan art to an artist named Kasbo. Kasbo had just released his album “Places We Don’t Know” which I dove into head first. The fan art I sent was truly shocking in more ways than one Anyway, fast forward to 2024, through coincidence and my friend Odd that I bumped into at a friend’s wedding, he told me about a DJ Collective he is a part of with a few other artists. Including Odd, DJ Carpenter, KILLEN. and Kasbo. Called Nokta Servo. Odd offered me to follow Nokta around with a camera and just document them playing at different events and concerts etc. This has then led me to work individually with all of these artist projects. These 4 guys and their individual projects, became one of the reasons why I eventually moved from Gothenburg to Stockholm. And 8 years later after I sent that fanart to Kasbo, I now work with him and has become one of my close friends. This video is from a YouTube series that me and Kasbo started back in January 2026. The idea has become pretty clear and simple, Kasbo selects/makes about 3-4 songs, it can be unreleased/unfinished music or elements of released music, and turns them into something suitable for ambient that fits the theme of what we are trying to do. It ends up being around 10 minutes. Often the average amount of time spent waiting on your train at that time of day which is cool. Figured that one out after the fact. One static image, we want it to feel eerie, wierd and warm at the same time, we drop down into the subway, we put a bunch of live instruments down, Kasbo plays the songs mixed with live elements and pre-recorded ones, record it, done. This is from the second one we did at Bagarmossen and planning a third one soon!

First own post in a long time. I often feel that nothing I make anymore gives me the satisfaction it used too. And I have heard from many friends that the satisfaction of making something will never be the same again as when you first start out, and they might be right. But I have pretty much only been doing stuff for other people for the last year. And so I thought a way to fix that is to start making things for myself again. I am going to force myself to start posting on here every Sunday. Or Monday, not super picky but once a week. There is a lot of work now so I am just gonna try and keep the bar at a reasonable height so I keep posting. For example, this video has been edited together for a few weeks but now it’s Sunday and I want to put more color on it. But screw that jazz, it’s done. This is some footage shot on super 8 for @picturesofaugustine upcoming EP, shot by me and some @iamflorianhope in Spain. 10/10 dudes I have so. Much. Material. And so much to say from the last year so I just have to start dumping it out
