bunny study in the style of @fiorenza_art 🐇 when i’m feeling drained and creatively uninspired, my favorite thing to do is dive deep into the work of artists i admire and spending time experimenting with their stylistic elements, relaxing into the world of another and breathing into your own energy as you create something that is still uniquely yours. which is a long winded way of saying i’m super happy with how these bun sweatshirts turned out :’)
tennessee, yall rock! thank you to everyone who made this weekend such a blast. the south gets such a bad rap based on govt actions and it is truly so special to show up as an unapologetically queer and leftist artist and be met with such incredible energy and allegiance. and yall, we raised $140 for ab0rtion seekers in the state! 70 to @abortioncaretn and 70 to @mountainaccessbrigade , every dollar matters so much to those it supports and you should totally check out their work and give if you are able to. lastly thanks to the organizers at @scenicstitches for a seamless event experience. till next time!!
WHAT A DAY! kittys sweetheart market was such a wonderful experience and im overflowing with gratitude for everyone who took part in the day, your purchases also helped distribute $151 in funds to support our neighbors affected by ICE activity (split between @corazondeshilado to pay for bills and necessities for families in columbus and @haitiansupportcenter to prepare for the anticipated uptick in springfield). so honored and humbled and many thanks to @dollhouseandco for hosting 💖💖
2026 is the year of the side quest and todays was going to see an art exhibit featuring medieval era cats, i love humans and how much we cherish our silly little creatures
2025, what a year. i adore new years, always have and always will, but this one truly has me at a loss for words. this year brought me some of the biggest joys and most difficult challenges of my life. so many dinners with friends, achieving the years-long dream of buying a house, falling head over heels in love with my career. losing that job under incredibly fraught circumstances and feeling so humbled and honored for the way in which my community rallied behind me in that fight. the last six months alone have completely transformed me as a person and i have been grieving and processing so much, devoting myself to creative practice, learning to trust my intuition more than ever despite how much of a struggle most of my days are in this moment of my life. i hope 2026 will be kinder to us and i pray that this time next year our world will contain more bravery, safety, peace, and justice. i have many resolutions for the upcoming year that i don’t quite have the right words for just yet, and would love to hear yours as well if you feel called to share them.
