Comic writer and creator Sebastian A. Jones is expanding The Untamed, his beloved graphic novel series from his @strangercomics imprint, universe in more ways than one. For the uninitiated, the original book introduced the fantasy world of Asunda and The Stranger, who has made an unholy and deadly deal with dark forces. He must collect the seven souls who killed his family in seven days or things will not end well for him.
Along the way, he meets Niobe Atuyami, a young Black heroine who is half-tribal elf, half-human, part angel, and part demon. Her presence and story were so powerful that she got her own successful comic series. The Untamed: A Sinner’s Prayer is getting a film adaptation, thanks to a collaboration with Viola Davis and Julius Tennon’s JuVee Productions. And Niobe’s journey will take on a new life in an upcoming anime series with @mollo_animation , with a trailer coming very soon. We have a special first-look at the animation style and vibrancy that viewers can expect.
