This month marks 1 FULL YEAR that I’ve managed to keep this studio open and growing in ways I genuinely couldn’t have imagined. It’s been a lot of stress, a lot of ibuprofen for my poor back and a lot of learning. But better than that, I spent so much time at markets and welcoming so many of y’all into my small cluttered space and it’s genuinely been the time of my life. I hope that this year sees me expand to a bigger space, but thank y’all so much for helping me keep this thing alive for the last year! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 🙌🏼
Save Wild Florida is more than just a shirt design, it’s a genuine hope given the destruction running rampant throughout our otherwise beautiful state. From unnecessary student housing to asphalt parking lots all the way down to the destruction of the Everglades the state of Florida is actively being stripped of what makes this state so beautiful.
Other than the printing (which she is also capable of), this entire design from idea to execution is the brainchild of the homie @cinder.bone.tattoo !
Printed on Vintage Coffee tees of the @lane7apparel variety
What began as a design detail on the Feral tee has found itself as a full front print imploring everyone who sees it to SAVE WILD FLORIDA! Developers, awful ‘leadership’ across the board, and the effects of climate issues are decimating the things that make Florida what it is.
Stop using AI, cut off your republican friends/family, and put your best foot forward to SAVE WILD FLORIDA!
This design is all the doing of @cinder.bone.tattoo from idea to execution and I hope y’all are following Jay and booking your tattoos with her at @hotlovetattoo !
Printed on another @lane7apparel vintage tee, this time on a Coffee colorway that looks so, so good.
Feral can be defined as ‘having escaped from domestication and become wild’ and after the last few years in Florida, I’ve noticed a lot of folks slipping into a feral state.
Am I wrong? It’s happened once before.
Am I maybe onto something? I just might be.
Drawn by the hand of @cinder.bone.tattoo ! I love throwing ideas at Jay and getting something so much cooler than I imagined sent back to me.
Printed on my new fave @lane7apparel vintage tee on cloud rock blanks! 🙌🏼
Y’all. THANK YOU! I know I say it on here a lot, and I won’t stop, but thank you thank you thank you so much for supporting this whole thing. I put *literally* every bit of myself into business and to see the smiles on your faces and hear all the ‘what you’re doing is so important’ genuinely hits me in the deepest part of my core and means the world to me.
I’m exhausted and wholly depleted today, but thank you so much for caring about what I’m doing here and showing up for me.
1 MORE DAY UNTIL WORD OF SOUTH! This is genuinely my favorite event of the Tallahassee year and has been for over a decade now!
Music, literature, a bunch of small local businesses, food trucks and all the entertainment you could ask for ALL IN ONE PLACE!
Come on down and enjoy what Tallahassee has to offer!
@wordofsouthfest at Cascades Park all weekend!
I know that Earth Day was yesterday, which was a perfect excuse to wait for today to post this!
This is a very small detail part of the next design collab with the absolute powerhouse that is @cinder.bone.tattoo !
I’m so, so excited for this one to drop I simply can hardly contain myself, but more information will be coming soon on the full design of this one!
So for now, do your part to save Wild Florida, stop using AI, use your reusable water bottles and be kind to animals cause at the end of the day we’re just big dumb animals ourselves.
Y’all be safe 🙌🏼
With over 100 parks in the city of Tallahassee, you’re bound to find a space with everything you could possibly ask for. If you’re asking for beautiful green space, manicured trails, room for horseback riding, or some solitude, maybe give JR Alford Greenway a visit and see how it makes you feel.
I’ll be talking about Lafayette Heritage trail in its own video, so don’t think I don’t know about that one 🙌🏼
Did you know that a WWII era bomb was found in Tallahassee’s Collegtown in 2016?
It was a pretty interesting night to live or socialize in the area as nearly everyone in a couple mile radius felt the impact of the explosion 70+ years after its manufactured date.
This type of history is really interesting to me and this is one that I was really excited to experience in real time.
With Florida summer on the way it’s an always important reminder to beware of snakes in the area at all times.
Whether you encounter them in the wild or even in your very own group chat, gotta keep your head on a swivel out there, y’all, these snakes are quick to strike!
Printed on Bootlicker Yellow because of course it is.
