Designed within an extremely compact footprint, the interior is conceived less as a room and more as a continuous field of movement.
Rather than retreating from the street, the façade stays visually open, engaging directly with the everyday pace of Dihua Street through generous glazing and a restrained, atmospheric glow. Daylight brings the outside in, grounding the space in daily life, while after dark the interior settles into a quiet luminosity, subtly marking the transition from the street to a place of focused listening.
在不到十坪的室內尺度中，流動感成為空間的重要命題。透過光線的層次、材質的連續性與環形座位配置，讓聲音、人群與酒液都能在空間中自然流動。

This is @zou.listening.bar , located on Dihua Street, Taiwan’s first listening bar devoted to the pairing of classical music and whisky.
〔城市中的 Sweet Spot〕
𖡡 奏ZOU Listening Bar
往大稻埕熱鬧主街的深處走去，一路行經南北貨店舖與商行，隨著市場叫賣聲漸弱，周圍的寧靜開始讓人沉澱之際，一處溫潤、暖黃的風格場域，在街屋之間悄然映入眼簾。這裡是位於迪化街的「奏ZOU Listening Bar」臺灣第一間結合威士忌與古典樂的聆聽酒吧。奏既指演奏，也象徵音樂在空間中被喚起的形式；而 ZOU，則來自店主姓氏的拼音，讓此處多了一層個人而真誠的意涵。

這是一處古典樂與威士忌彼此共鳴的場域，我們將音樂作為空間主體，創造聆聽的儀式，也期許酒酣耳熱之際，人與人之間自然互動，或自在隨著節奏擺動。
在不到十坪的此處，透過音樂，透過氣息，透過因微醺而展開的情緒，創造出無邊際的自由和想像。

Made of birch plywood, the chair features clean lines and soft curves for a refined yet warm look. Its custom cushions enhance comfort, while side cutouts make it easy to move. A lower storage space adds function, and traditional joinery highlights fine craftsmanship.
以樺木夾板為主體結構，透過線條與圓潤邊角，呈現俐落而溫和的視覺印象；訂製坐墊與背靠提升了坐感的柔軟度與支撐性。兩側開孔設計不僅方便搬動，也成為整體造型語彙的一部分。下方規劃置物空間增加功能性，榫卯結構則強化穩定性，延續傳統木工的工藝精神。

Inside LA TERRE, the design follows the purist principle of “clarity in form and unity in function,” where proportion, geometry, and restraint define the spatial rhythm. The front zone unfolds through layered heights—display, bar, and checkout—each surface revealing a dialogue of texture and tone: translucent grating, sky-blue stone, and oxidized steel. Alongside, a deep green display wall with a mirror shaped like a garment cut-out subtly recalls the store’s fashion origins.

步入 LA TERRE 室內，我們以純粹主義的「形體清晰、機能合一」作為結構原則，強調比例與和諧、幾何形狀和色彩表現上的克制。
空間前半部分的視覺重點由櫃檯延展而出，串連成商品展示、結帳工作區與高吧座位的多功能區，透過階梯式高低錯落，轉譯土地上的層層疊疊、沉積的時間感。
第一層以 FRP 格柵板建立秩序與透光性，中間一層則搭配天空藍結晶石桌板與孔雀藍礦物塗料面，作為結帳工作區的最高一層立面，則採不鏽鋼拋光黑氧化處理，以冷靜的金屬語氣定錨工作節點，與周邊的溫潤材質形成巧妙的對比。
視線轉向右側，陳列架以深綠木紋染色作為基底，結合不鏽鋼衣桿架，架上嵌入一面造型鏡，造型靈感來自服裝設計過程中剪裁下的裁片，為空間注入隱約的時裝語境。

The façade is wrapped in red-earth mineral plaster and paved with terracotta tiles, echoing the warm hues found in traditional Taiwanese architecture. Frosted glass softens the threshold, revealing only fragments of light and shadow within. As the door opens, the touch of a stone handle and the texture of Hualien marble beneath the step mark the quiet passage from the street’s noise to an interior of calm restraint.

LA TERRE 立面以紅土質地礦物塗料包覆，腳下鋪陳陶土地磚，熟悉的磚紅色調除了是台灣傳統房舍常見的用色，更有紅土大地的意象，迎接每一位到訪的人們，半穿透的磨砂玻璃拉起輕霧般的界面，視線並非一眼穿透，卻能看見內部的光與影。

在伸手開門之際，掌心先貼上有機形體石材門把的溫潤與份量，腳尖跨過花蓮紋石踏階，天然礦脈為進門前的片刻停留增添視覺張力。整體門面以去裝飾的手法收束，於街廓之間劃出一條從城市喧囂通往室內靜域的界線。

At the heart of the room, a curved display structure commands attention. Finished in oxidized brass with mineral-like patterns, it recalls the organic beauty of malachite. Its soft arc cuts across the elongated plan, anchoring the interior with a sculptural presence where new and old, gentle and strong, coexist in quiet balance.

光，是這個空間的關鍵敘事者，LA TERRE 深處雖無法引入自然天光，我們仍希望將緩緩灑落的光表現在空間之中，在表面與空氣之間形成細微的層次，因此，一座抽象的天井應運而生。

令人無法忽視的，還有這座挺立於場域中央處的弧形造型展示架，表面以藍綠色的黃銅氧化處理做飾材，讓自然的氧化斑紋呈現出如同孔雀石般的有機礦物感紋理。弧線的造型切分狹長的動線，也在礦物塗料的背景之中創造一處量體焦點，讓新與舊、柔與剛，在此自然並置。

Tucked into a quiet lane at the cusp of Taipei’s Zhongshan and Datong districts, just steps from MRT Zhongshan, LA TERRE (@laterre_55 )opened discreetly this month. In contrast to the neighborhood’s increasingly buzzy street culture, the women’s select shop presents a restrained, quietly elegant presence. It offers a calm refuge where visitors can step away from the noise and explore their own sense of style.

在臺北中山區與大同區交界、距離捷運中山站僅數步之遙的靜巷裡，女裝選貨店 LA TERRE 於本月中悄然登場。不同於附近街廓日漸活絡的潮流氣息，LA TERRE 透過一襲內斂而簡潔的姿態，為這座城市中的女性提供一處得以隔絕外界紛擾，同時探索個人風格樣態的靜謐之境。

質型為店舖引入「純粹主義（Purism）」作為空間的中心思想與美學架構延伸，並依此概念為核心命題，思索後續的材料與表現形式，意即，去除不必要的裝飾，讓形體清晰且俐落，保留最基本結構與形式；以理性的設計手法，調配比例和秩序，讓材質與光線成為主要敘事者，並將此案命名為 —— 地土之詩。

服裝設計背景的業主提到自身對 Le Corbusier 的喜愛，我們才又有機會把耳熟能詳的經典一一拿出來再次閱讀。討論了建築散步（Promenade Architecturale），思考購物路徑與探索之間的逐步揭示；也把重點放在純粹主義（Purism），探究如何通過有序的、理性的形式來表達美。靈感就此展開。
