Both established DJs and producers in the Melbourne scene, Rex the Bard and Strafe are about to get experimental for their set at Electropolis.
Rex the Bard makes high-octane tracks for the everyday, and when not making drum and bass, she creates future garage, glitchy footwork, lowkey breakcore, and seapunk.
Strafe has been producing music for 15 years, balancing tech-trance cyber themes with vibrant 170 bass music. He also focuses on teaching production, mixing, and sound design at @mist.audio

Based in Melbourne, Strafe has been producing music for 15 years, balancing tech-trance cyber themes with vibrant 170 bass music. He has previously released with MURKT, Monarch, onesevenfour, and InHabit. Drawing from experience with a hybrid setup of software and modular, as well as an internship at Sydney’s Studios 301, he brings this aptitude into his own productions. He now focuses on teaching production, mixing, and sound design at @mist.audio contributing knowledge and expertise to both the Sydney and Melbourne drum and bass communities.
