Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin. Just a tiny amount can be deadly.
Illicit fentanyl is often mixed into other drugs without a personโs knowledge, increasing the risk of accidental overdose. One pill, one use, can be enough to take a life.
We urge our community to stay informed, talk to your loved ones, and never take medications that are not prescribed to you.
๐ Aggressive Driving: Stay Safe, Stay Calm
Road rage can escalate quickly and put everyone on the road at risk. A moment of frustration can turn into a dangerous situation! Staying calm can make all the difference.
โ To avoid being the aggressor:
โข Leave early so youโre not rushed
โข Keep a safe following distance
โข Stay calm and donโt use your horn or gestures out of frustration
Patience saves lives. Letโs keep our roads safe together!
Join us tonight to honor those who have lost their lives due to crime. This vigil will be in front of PD headquarters. Let's stand in solidarity against crime! ๐
