We’re looking for someone who is:
- A skilled FX artist with a strong understanding of physics and natural phenomena such as fire, smoke, water and destruction
- Detail oriented and capable of delivering high end VFX work
- Good at communicating and collaborating with others and has a strong command of English
- Experienced working with Houdini
- Working knowledge of Nuke
- Familiar with simulation workflows and optimization techniques.
- Willing to relocate to Oslo and join our team long term
- Having an EU work permit is a plus
What the work entails:
- Creating high quality FX for the shows we’re working on
- FX work may include simulations such as explosions, fluids, particles, rigid body destruction and atmospheric effects
- Working closely with lighting, compositing and other departments to ensure seamless integration
- Participating in dailies and communicating with the FX team and other departments when needed
- The work will be on-site in Oslo in our charming old brick factory building by the river, a short 10-minute walk from the central station

Job Description
- Camera tracking and matchmoving objects in live action plates for VFX projects
- 3D scene reconstruction with primitive proxy geometry
- Body track / character rotomations with rigs
- Reviewing and publishing matchmove results submitted by outsource vendors
- Communicating and collaborating with other departments to ensure that the CG elements are seamlessly incorporated into the shot
Qualifications
- Extensive work experience in using 3D Equalizer. Knowledge of PFTrack or Metashape will be a plus
- Extensive work experience with body track / 3D rotomations
- Good knowledge of Maya, particularly animation with rigs
- Working knowledge of Nuke
- Experience in working with Lidar, witness camera and other onset data
- Thorough understanding of real-world camera attributes such as apertures, lenses and distortion
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good communicational skills and fluency in English

- Willing to do the detail oriented work required for high end VFX

What the work entails:
- Creating high quality animation for the shows we’re working on
- Animation may include anything from animating props or vehicles to high end character animation for creatures and robots
- Animation work may also include rotomation and detailed face replacement
- Participating in dailies and communicating with other animators on the team and with other departments when needed
- The work will be on-site in Oslo in our charming old brick factory building by the river, a short 10-minute walk from the central station
