I have been a bit slack lately posting about some of my rescent creations.
Here is a post showing the stage design work i made last April for Kinetic Connection.
It also shows some behind the scene preps and a lot of bad hairdos workshop days^^
I wanted to work with the motif of the chain since a long time, and the team being on board for me to go for giant chain and plaits making was a treat. The entire things was a treat and the result was excellent.

Disobey..
you do need to do it, to know, to learn when they tell you don't touch it will burn. You do actually need to do it, at least once, often more, to experience it. To feel what it means to get burnt.
That is when it's about empirical knowledge and all..
But what it is to disobey when you already understand what getting burnt means? When you've grown and the concept of rules, fair or unfair, useful or biased, have already grasped you?
How or what can you disobey while on the grind of adulthood, juggling ethics and means to the mouth, the roof, the health, the younger one, the fatigue, the need of ease, the weigh of the weight..
Can you then only disobey yourself within little acts of rebellion, who more than often somes up to let you off a order hook upon your head, that you rationalised as yours only, because really, if even your worries eludes you, what the fuck is even left for you to hold..
Your joy? The one you can get within the safe gaps?
My thoughts are a bit dark, but really i pounder about my own making of a prompt. Even if it lays more within the fantasmรฉ of possible subversion.
How great will be you real disobedience?
Will it be a "in your the faces" while you run naked, all wild bits out screaming that you exist in the main? Or a complicated confrontational refusal of paying any kind of gst and taxes in purchasing goods, as long as those contributes to the weaponry making of any kind? Or just silently stopping paying your rent.. that will rock the boat a bit too..
instead of disobeying yourself about doing that thing you do not want to do anymore but you do..
I remember conversations about the struggling of people who never disobeyed. It always goes like "steal the fruit over the fence, be naughty, white lie about double booking when asked to gathering with shit opinions".
Maybe it's the first step..
but it seems a bit vain to find the bloody stolen lemon harrowing comparatively of how squashed we are between what we think it should be and what it is. It reads like a magazine cover about people feeling great running their monster truck on vegetable oil..
How do we disobey with pride and the cunning assurance of doing it?
