STEP 1
Shake well before use and spray from a distance of about 15cm (6 inches).
STEP 2
Spray generously until item is noticeably wet.
STEP 3
Dry for atleast 12 hours before use. Refresh as necessary.

How to wash your down kit 🧼🫧
Washing your kit is super important for not only improving its performance but extending its lifespan. This is your sign to wash your down gear before you pack it away this spring.
Down feathers have natural water resistant & insulating properties requiring specialist cleaning to avoid damaging their integrity. Household detergents will strip away the natural oils from the down feathers, reducing loft & thermal properties.
STEP 1
Add one garment into the washing machine. Avoid overfilling your drum, technical garments need to move freely to make the most of both mechanical and chemical cleaning.
STEP 2
Pour 75ml of Storm wash into the detergent compartment & if re-proofing add 75ml of Storm Down Proofer into the conditioning compartment.
STEP 3
Set your machine to a 30 degree synthetic low spin cycle or a technical sport garment setting if available.
STEP 4
Follow garment care instructions for drying. Hang to drip dry for at least 20 minutes before tumble drying.
STEP 5
Heat by tumble drying a low heat setting according to the care label, removing the garment perodically to agitate the baffels to spread the down evenly.
And just like that your kit is clean, warm, and ready for your next adventure.

To apply:
Place the tin in warm water to soften the wax. Using a clean cloth or sponge and gently apply it onto the jacket, focusing on high wear areas like cuffs, pockets and elbows.
For the best finish, use a hair dryer allowing the wax to apply more evenly (a radiator works too).
