Camp Sovereignty
20th Anniversary
12.03.2026
20 years of committed resistance
20 years of land back
And many years on the ongoing fight to self determination.
keep the fire burning!
ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE.
INVASION DAY RALLY 26.01.2026 Naarm.
So called Australia is the only country in the world that still actively celebrates invading the First Nations Peoples of this continent.
Let that sink in.
ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE
ABORIGINAL LAND.
For the last few weeks, we’ve been busy getting the word out about the FUN RUN. We’ve been posting, texting, radioing, postering, flyering….you name it, we’ve done it.
We already have over 120 folks signed up to run, but we need your help to keep pushing! Our goal is to raise $150,000 for mutual aid by 1st of Feb and we can’t do this without the support of our community.
Ways you can help us spread the word:
- Like, comment on and repost all the FUN RUN posts you see
- Share our posts to your story with a few lines about why you’re supporting this event
- Send our page to someone you know who enjoys running, walking, rivers, mutual aid, community — actually just send it to everyone you know!
- Print out our posters or flyers from our Google Drive and get distributing around your neighbourhood!
- Remind folks that they can still donate if they don’t want to participate in the event!
This event is a grassroots effort organised by a very small team so your help is greatly appreciated! 🫶🏽

Uncle Robbie Thorpe.
Thanks to mob and supporters for all the love and strength shown at camp over this past week.
Uncle Robbie has made a statement that the threat and emergency is over, and he is personally dealing with the authorities.
We’re now packing up tents as there is no longer a need to protect camp overnight. Visitors are always welcome at camp sovereignty.
6 neo-n*zi’s have been arrested and 4 with intervention orders. More updates to come.
Thanks to the incredible solidarity effort we took back space; solidarity is what helped protect camp and it does not go unnoticed. Thank you ❤️ 💛 🖤
Camp Sovereignty is a healing space and there are big plans coming for the space moving forward. More information will be put out about its history, purpose, and how you can support.
Always was, always will be.

Naarm Sunday rally
National day of protest, 22 months into the genocide of the Palestinian people. Thousands marching across so-called ‘Australia’ to sanction and cut ties with Israel.
For those just waking up, it’s too little, too late.
Fuck Israel.
ALL COLONIES WILL FALL!

My first Matariki (Mataliki/Matali’i) Hautapu ceremony in Naarm, Melbourne.
Started off with a beautiful smoking ceremony to acknowledge the lands that we are gathered on. (Woiwurrung lands of the Kulin nation) followed by a powerful karakia, lead by Wānaga Matariki.
Reflections are real to say the least.
Lots to let go and lots to go see,
Mānawaita a Matariki e te whanau.

Outside the US Consulate,
Naarm Melbourne.
Protesting the USA’s imperial agenda in Palestine and the Middle East, and their puppeteering of the Zionist project.
Protesting the fascists that are deporting people from their homes in the colony of the so-called USA.
Protesting the police who were invented to protect the ruling class. Public assembly is a human right.
Music is resistance.
Zionism is white supremacy.
Fuck imperialism everywhere.
And have a nice day.
That was movie fr!!
Thank you so much everyone who came down to shake ass, all the truely insanely talented artists for bringing the joy, the brave souls who rode thru the night to refuel, Ezza for printing out zines, Poppy for crushing the cocktail bar, Shannon for being the goblin king, secretworld records for their expertise in raving, and all the incredible peeps who helped set up and pack down, we love all you goblins🥰 see you next time so soon xx

Today the people of Naarm marched 6km from the State Library to St Kilda beach. Reflecting the natural borders of historic Palestine - from the Jordan river, to the Mediterranean sea.
From the river to the sea,
Always was, Always will be
People haven’t forgotten Nakba day. And they won’t forget the genocide. We won’t let them.

Tendaberry is the directoral debut from Haley Elizabeth Anderson. The film is a "whirlwind mix of DV tapes and 16mm stock, [transforming] the concrete jungle of New York into a delicate tapestry of emotions. Charting the four seasons of a magnetic young woman unsettled by change, Tendaberry composes an urban symphony in the key of love."
Doors from 6pm with food on the roof (VG options avail) from 𝐖𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧' 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 x 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐭𝐞 inspired by the film - Haitian flavour and family memories - with all proceeds to the ASRC. 𝐙𝐣𝐨𝐬𝐨 replacing Claire O'Brien (who is no longer able to make it) on rooftop DJ duties before the film, 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐤𝐢 DJing after.
Screening from 7.30pm. Feature film preceded by shorts from 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 and 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐬 𝐙𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. Spiked Haitian hot chocolates all night from the chefs and Misc bar!
