Opening Tomorrow 6-8pm Storage 52 Walker St Floor 4 Tribeca Storage is proud to present the International debut solo of Rafael Kamada (b. 1993, Lives and works in Brazil). Curated by Onyedika Chuke, the presentation is a suite of recent oil paintings exploring the liminal space between figuration, abstraction, surface, memory, presence and erasure. "Through his investigations into surface and color, Kamada betrays a supremely refined visual language he has doubtless acquired through an intense study of his predecessors. He has developed a contemplative, if not achingly pure approach to painting one would imagine lost to an earlier era. Yet that approach, flagrantly unconcerned with the contemporary and engaged only with paintings most essential formal aspects, has found its way back to us." - David Jager From an excerpt of the exhibition essay "Just as Kamada’s paintings are not the execution of a pre-defined project, in the same way we no longer believe in a single project of the world.  It makes sense because the world is no longer a dream or a promise of happiness. Even if there is no fixed and predictable pattern in Rafael Kamada’s paintings, they are arranged through their relation with our world. Or perhaps they are the artist’s way of addressing our perplexity in the face of the approaching catastrophe, of dealing with the lack of clarity and with the challenges of living on the edge of the abyss, without a horizon, and still betting on the existence of a future." Please join us on Saturday, October 18th, for a curatorial walkthrough and refreshments at 3 pm. Storage 52 Walker Street 4th Floor Tribeca, New York “After a Few Seasons, it suggests in an objective and simple way, the question of a composed time, a time of something that matured, something that was developed over the passing of years to consolidate itself where it is now, but at the same time, in some way, it is also the understanding of what we live today. It is also something temporary, something that soon will be transformed so that winter will come again.” - Rafael Kamada

An occult presence pervades the sylvan scenery of Comet Eater, a solo show from Terra Keck. In these nightswept graphite drawings, trees shimmer and sway. Leaves levitate and glow. Stars or fireflies illuminate ornate paths. Among other sources, Keck hybridizes the ghostly impressions of Anna Atkins’s botanical cyanotypes and the mystic geometry of Hilma af Klint’s paintings. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the artist talk between Terra Keck (b. 1991) and Olivia Springberg (b. 2000). Gallery Hours: Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM – 6 PM Olivia Springberg (b. 2000) presents an array of paintings that transform geometry and color into spiritual structures. Drawing from Jewish tradition, dream theory, archaeology, and the paranormal, she embraces mystery and ambiguity, blending the familiar with the unfamiliar. Her compositions range from traditional rectangles to shaped canvases inspired by religious symbols, geoglyphs, and ancient scripts-forms that reflect her deep interest in abstraction’s ability to carry meaning and presence. #52walker #artgallery #storagearchive #storageartgallery #contemporaryart #galleryexhibition #nycgallery #tribeca #tribecaartgallery #fineart #art #artist #nyc #oliviaspringberg #gatesofhorn
