Just three weeks to go until the Freedom Games 2026!
There’s still time to sign up, get moving and be part of the movement to help end modern slavery.
Whether your team takes on steps, swims, runs, office olympics or bake-offs, every challenge will go such a long way in helping @justiceandcare and @stopthetraffik identify and support even more survivors of exploitation.
And to make it even better, every team that signs up before 27th May will receive a free bespoke ‘Spotting the Signs’ training session, delivered by our anti-trafficking experts.
Bring your colleagues together, boost wellbeing, and make a real impact this June.

What began with gathering intelligence has grown into a global approach — combining data, prevention programmes, and collaboration to drive real change. From equipping communities with knowledge, to enabling businesses and partners to act, to advancing data-sharing through our P10 initiatives, each step has built on the last.
Our Impact at a Glance map brings this journey together, showing you not just where we’ve been, but the scale of what’s possible when insight turns into action.

A big thank you to our incredible ethical partners: @holoskombucha , @tonyschocolonely_uk_ire , @manumitcoffee , and @nemiteas , for helping us create this year’s marathon and half-marathon gift bags.
Because of your support, we were able to celebrate our runners with products that reflect the same values we stand for: fairness, transparency, and a commitment to ending exploitation.
We’re so grateful to have you alongside us 💛
A massive THANK YOU to all our amazing runners at the @londonmarathon yesterday 💛

The war in Iran and attacks in Lebanon have triggered one of the most severe displacement crises the SWANA region has seen in years, and the conditions created are increasing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.
Threats to people’s safety are not limited to active conflict—displacement itself carries profound risks. When people are forced to flee their homes, they often lose access to documentation, stable employment, and the support networks that help keep them protected. These are precisely the conditions in which human trafficking and exploitation intensify. Traffickers and exploitative actors routinely target those seeking safety or simply trying to survive. Displaced populations, particularly women and children, face heightened risks of sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse.
As the situation continues to evolve, our intelligence team will continue to monitor trafficking risks across the region and share intelligence with our network of anti-trafficking partners.
A massive THANK YOU to all our amazing runners at the @londonlandmarkshalf on Sunday 💛

Human trafficking is a hideous human rights abuse that destroys lives, families, and communities. But it is also a flourishing, profit-driven criminal industry.
According to the latest @nasdaq Nasdaq 2026 Global Financial Crime Report, human trafficking generated an estimated $528.5 billion in global profits in 2025, rising with a growth rate of 23.5% between 2023 and 2025. This is exploitation at scale—a business model built on vulnerability.
As long as it remains low risk and high reward, it will continue to grow. At STOP THE TRAFFIK, we are working to shift that equation — making trafficking higher risk and lower profit, until it is no longer viable.
We partner with financial institutions, businesses, NGOs, law enforcement, and social media and technology companies to disrupt the systems that enable this crime. Our approach targets three core pillars:
• Recruitment of vulnerable people
• Demand for exploited labour
• Movement of illicit profits through legitimate financial systems
Our Exploitation Analytics Services turn intelligence into action—helping organisations detect, prevent, and disrupt trafficking within their operations.

Businesses and community groups across the UK are already stepping up to raise vital funds and help drive real change in the fight against exploitation.

This International Women’s Day, we ask you to imagine a different world.
A world where women and girls are not bought and sold.
A world where exploitation has no market.
A world where every woman and girl is free to live, work, and dream safely.
Right now, millions of women and girls are in situations of modern slavery and human trafficking, with many more vulnerable to exploitation. However, this future is avoidable if communities, businesses, and individuals unite to prevent human trafficking.
