What’s the worst that could happen? Tonight I find myself heading out for a ride into the dark across Salisbury Plain
Seems like a fun idea
But this is all part of the recce ride for the @stonecircle.cc gravel festival over the solstice in June
Coincidentally, I will be right leading the Knight ride which will take in 330 km of Salisbury Plains finest gravel… and that of the surrounding areas
Which is all quite nice really because it is also my old stomping ground from when I was in the army
Which to make me sound a bit old and crusty was now many years ago
Business what am I going to eat for 130 km overnight?
The answer is not that much really
Well stocked with my @voomnutrition and some snacks from the reduced aisle of my local shop
You’re probably making at least one of these mistakes.
It doesn’t matter how hard you train but if you’re still fuelling like this, you’re holding yourself back.
