Hey y’all! We have been watching the weather closely, and at this time, we are still planning on doing our Open House for Booked Couples tonight from 5-7pm as it looks like the worst of the weather will hopefully be over before then. 🤞
For anyone who doesn’t want to risk it, we do have our next one in August too! The one tonight will be more chill, and we won’t be decorating for it. We will have tablecloths out on the tables for y’all to play with decor if you’d like to though and as always the decor barn will be open too! Photographing weddings constantly reminds me how lucky I am to do what I do. Every time I walk into a room filled with family, friends, and anticipation, I’m surrounded by this quiet electricity of love. It’s not just another day. It’s a day people have dreamed about, planned for, and waited for. Being trusted to capture it all feels like a privilege that I never want to take for granted.
What makes it even more meaningful are the intimate moments that unfold naturally throughout the day. The nervous smiles before the ceremony, the tight hugs between parents and their children, the way two people look at each other when they think no one else is watching. Standing behind the camera, I get a front row seat to emotions that are raw, honest, and beautiful. I’m not just documenting a day, I’m witnessing stories that families will hold onto for generations.
At the end of the day, I leave every wedding feeling grateful. Grateful that couples invite me into such personal spaces, grateful that I get to preserve memories that will matter years from now, and grateful that my work allows me to feel the warmth of so much love in one place. It’s a reminder that this job is about far more than photographs. It’s about connection, trust, and the quiet magic of people celebrating each other.

Mackenzie and Alden said “I do” at the venue on Halloween! It was a perfect fall day for an outdoor ceremony, and they chose a very classy and a bit moody color palette for their day that turned out beautifully! Mackenzie and Alden also chose to have fun with it being a Halloween wedding by requesting all of their guests and vendors wear costumes! Everyone had a blast! @sydneyslighh worked her magic behind the camera as usual to capture the day!
