Just scored this relic of an instrument! An 80s Lado Falcon. Canadian built vintage beauty. This instrument is so wild. Has the craziest electronics and even has a distortion pedal built right into what. What a piece! Never find one of these again!
Another snare wrap project. Found this cool vintage 12" Yamaha side snare. Indonesian made. Simple wrap change from the original black to piano white to match my vintage pearl set. Turned out pretty good!
Tonight! Rendezvous Pub!! Looking forward to seeing you all there! We're on first so make sure you get there at doors if you're specifically looking to see us!
I just want to send a huge shout out to Daniel Sorenson at @musketeer_guitarworks . Lately I've been trusting Dan with my setups and mods on all my studio instruments. This guitar I just purchased is an obscure 2000's Epiphone Les Paul, made briefly by epiphone during the first 7 string craze. Its pretty cool.
Dan did a full cosmetic restore, set up and installed a single coil push pull pickup mod on the neck pickup (which we swapped out). Dan has done previous custom work for other guitars I own such as custom nut manufacturing and fret levels. I'm always happy with his work and his set ups are pretty mint. I've never really trusted other people to do my set ups but Dan is the man haha. Check out his other work on his page.

Winter is long and recording albums takes longer.
A pleasant clip off our tune 'Colony'. Hope you enjoy.

I love a good restoration project. I found these early 80s MIJ shells on marketplace. They were neglected, abused and forgotten. It took over 15 hours to remove all the hardware, clean all the grease and grime, restore the wrap and condition the wood. Overall they sound pretty good. Eventually they'll need a full reskin but that's another day.
Maybe one day I'll actually start playing drums instead of just buying them lololol.
Big shout out to @8_bit_tom for consulting on this restoration project.
