I saw David Barker (who was Spacemen 3s first label with his pivotal Glass records ) say recently when asked why it was that he put out Spacemen 3s first records. He replied something along the lines about it was his sense that we clearly believed in what we were doing. We’re passionate about it. And had faith in ourselves and our music. Introducing ‘Foglights’. A new project created by Eva Cord and Stone Anthem (Archie Ingram). Blending the dense psychedelia of Stone Anthem with the heartfelt indie pop of The Cords, the duo create immersive, folk-tinged soundscapes built on washed-out guitars, hypnotic melodies, and raw, honest lyricism. Rooted in contrast and connection. An honest, intimate reflection of their musical relationship. Foglights reflects two distinct artists sharing the same vision: music made with vulnerability, intensity, and sincerity. Their sound drifts between clarity and distortion, dark yet hopeful, controlled yet unpredictable, pulling listeners into something intimate, immersive, and difficult to define.
