SGS was closed for capitalism on Friday Jan 30! We were able to donate $548 in proceeds and additional donations from our community! Immigrant Law Center of MN was overfunded so we donated to our neighbors in North Minneapolis for rent support! We sent $548 to the North Minneapolis Mutual Aid Fund. Thank you to our students and community for your support!

12pm-1:30pm Intro to Aerial Drive for Mashkiki Studios An introduction to aerial arts. Learn beginner entrances, moves and language to start your aerial journey. All proceeds for this pop-up workshop will go to Mashkiki Studios.  Mashkiki Studios is an Afro Indigenous creative and educational studio in South Minneapolis that blends cultural workshops, curriculum development, and handmade apothecary goods with active mutual aid. From early February to present, the storefront has been transformed into a mutual aid hub and will continue to operate as such for as long as it is needed, regularly organizing and distributing food, hygiene, and essential care kits while showing up for the community through both education and direct, on the ground support. Space is limited, you will need to pre-register and sign the waiver before coming to class. What to wear: Comfortable, fitted, stretchy clothes to move in.
