Contempo Fancy Frolick turns the studio into a playful lab. Expect Jazzy footwork, floaty turns, medium jumps, quick direction changes, complex weight shifts, and a groovy-breezy vibe. Deeply informed by Ariel’s engagement in Countertechnique, this class prioritizes action over shape, task over outcome, and maintaining kindness and respect to the body, always. The studio becomes a laboratory of play, exploring how we find honesty within choreographed steps, practice finding joy in rigour, and make sure we are rigorous in our practice of finding joy.
