Thank you to everyone who supported Stompbox Supply over the years. You helped me reach this point and I greatly appreciate it. Making my own guitars is something I don’t take for granted. See y’all out west at @woodwirevolts with @hynesguitars - the beginning of the next chapter.
Back in the summer of ‘24 I was at a crossroads. Hamstrung by a brick & mortar requirement to get the best pedal brands, I decided it was time to make my own products. I asked Carlos if he would design a headstock for me and help me get set up to make my own guitars. He didn’t have to say yes, but I’m awful glad he did. Later when I spoke to Curtis about using his pickups, he extended an invitation to Wood Wire Volts and told me how much he loved supporting small builders. Not sure what I did to deserve such kindness from these two legends, but they have forever changed the course of my life and who I am. I love you guys! Best, Brian.
The pedal that never was. I abandoned this project for several reasons, one of which was a potential trademark issue. I threw my two “Hail Marys” with attempting to create my own pedals and guitars. I collaborated with Chris @futuradesigns and Alec @maskaudioelectronics - Even though it didn’t get released I wanted to thank both of them for all their help and figured someone might get something out of seeing this. It was fun to work together! Love you guys. Best, Brian.
Glad everyone loved the carpenter pencil swag! My grandpa Manny gave me one as a kid and carved my name into it. Each guitar is setup using that very same pencil. He showed me how to take care of tools and that you could build anything. Kinda feels like he was there @woodwirevolts Thanks pop!
Whoever said never meet your heroes has clearly never been to @woodwirevolts An absolute privilege to meet both of these guys. Mike and Tim have been massive influences.
