Michael Cavanaugh’s “Singers & Songwriters” show is a celebration of the American Rock & Roll Songbook, featuring songs by renowned artists such as Paul Simon, Neil Diamond, and James Taylor. The show is a testament to Cavanaugh’s talent as a performer and musician, having gained fame for his work in the Broadway musical “Movin’ Out.” His unique style and ability to interpret the modern pop/rock songbook have made him a standout artist in the private events market and beyond. The show is a testament to Cavanaugh’s enduring appeal and his ability to connect with audiences through music.
Michael Cavanaugh is the new voice of the American Rock & Roll Songbook and a charismatic performer and musician made famous for his piano/lead vocals in the Broadway musical Movin’ Out. Handpicked by Billy Joel to star in Movin’ Out, Cavanaugh evokes a style rivaling the Piano Man. He appeared in the show for 3 years with over 1,200 performances, and received multiple accolades. The show culminated in 2003 with both Grammy and Tony award nominations.

The Fantasticks is a funny and romantic musical about a boy, a girl, and their two fathers who try to keep them apart. The narrator, El Gallo, asks the audience to use their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and magic. The boy and the girl fall in love, grow apart and finally find their way back to each other after realizing the truth in El Gallo’s words that, “without a hurt, the heart is hollow.”

We’re heading back to Ohio for our third appearance at Dayton’s beautiful Victoria Theatre and then on to Elyria’s Stocker Arts Center!
Opening the show is the internationally acclaimed Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy, followed by Mutts Gone Nuts starring world-renowned trainer Alexandra Côté and some of the most amazing trained dogs on the planet.

Kalien is a blue-skinned alien who mistakenly lands on our planet after hopping on the wrong space cab from his planet Gorock, only to be made fun of because of how different they are, particularly their skin color. The driving theme of Kalien the Alien is that we should never make fun of anyone who is different than us, but rather celebrate how amazingly unique we all are. Simple, yet life-affirming, there are lessons in diversity, friendship, inclusion and kindness.
Outta’ This World: The Adventures of Kalien the Alien is a rollicking rock musical that explores themes of anti-bullying, prejudice and kindness embedded with social emotional learning.
