Nearing the end of our coaches, and we have Freight Train for y'all, coming from Austin Anarchy, Texas Rockin City, Angel City Roller Derby, & USA Roller Derby!
Freight Train is a powerhouse jammer whose speed, strength, and control make her one of the most dangerous offensive threats on the track. Once she finds a seam, she owns it.
Her style combines explosive movement with smart decision-making, allowing her to break through defenses while staying calm under pressure. She has a way of making difficult scoring passes look effortless.
Skating with Freight means learning how to attack with confidence, trust your instincts, and turn every jam into an opportunity.
Her knowledge of offensive timing and track awareness will push skaters to raise their game.

Over the past week, much has taken place within the MRDA. While we cannot speak to every detail, we want to express our full support for the decisions made by our league member, Loki.
Loki’s passion for this sport and community extends far beyond herself, and it takes remarkable courage to stand up for what is right in the way she has. We not only support her decision and statement, but we applaud it. We hope Loki’s actions will continue to highlight areas where we can improve—both as a league and as an organization. It is our duty as members of the MRDA to continue to grow and do better, both for the betterment of the sport and the safety of ALL our skaters.

Swanson is an elite jammer with a reputation for precision, control, and game-changing speed. When she’s on the line, defenses have to be perfect because she only needs the smallest opening to make you pay.
Her skating is efficient, intentional, and incredibly difficult to contain. Annie doesn’t just get through the pack she reads it, manipulates it, and turns every jam into an opportunity.
