Our Virginia & Central Maryland Regional Office recently welcomed students from Frederick High School’s LYNX Program for a behind-the-scenes look at careers in commercial real estate.
LYNX, which stands for Linking Youth to New Experiences, helps students create individualized plans for success that support their academic and career goals through hands-on learning and community partnerships.
Regional Partner Matt Holbrook and Director of Construction Charlton Kilgore led a tour at our East Park business community, while Director of Interior Construction Ryan Mitchell guided students through an active construction site at Arcadia Business Park.
The team shared their experiences, discussed their current roles, and moderated a Q&A session. We’re proud to support programs like LYNX that inspire the next generation of industry professionals.

Last week, St. John Properties put down roots in the community with some tree-mendous teamwork! Through SJP Engage, our employee volunteer program, 14 people from the Baltimore team partnered with @irvinenaturecenter for an outdoor service project. Together, we planted 52 trees to help preserve and strengthen the region’s largest independent non-profit nature center.
North Park continues to gain momentum with two exciting new additions to 4 North Park Drive.
The fast-growing clean energy company Solar Gaines is relocating their corporate HQ to the business community this summer. Also joining North Park: Hannah’s Café, opening its second location later this year to serve tenants and visitors with fresh breakfast, lunch, and catering options.
These leases mark the first transactions since we acquired and revitalized the North Park portfolio, reinforcing the continued momentum of the Hunt Valley market.
