Join us this Thursday, May 7th, at 9:00AM at Inlet Beach Regional Access for a public sea turtle release proudly sponsored by The St. Joe Community Foundation, Inc.! We will be releasing four turtles! 💚
These incredible turtles have each overcome their own challenges with the help of our CARE Center team:

🕚 Release begins at 9:00 AM
🚍 Please arrive early to allow time for parking. The release will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Please plan accordingly, traffic is often heavy, and there is limited parking.
Note: If there are any weather issues, the release may be delayed but not cancelled. We will announce any delays on our Gulfarium CARE Center Facebook page and in our Sea Turtle Release channel on Facebook.

What a great month of music in the schools this March with Sinfonia Gulf Coast! 🎶
Since 2006, Sinfonia Gulf Coast has impacted more than 250,000 students through music education programs across Northwest Florida.
We are proud to congratulate our first Bay County No Ordinary JOE, Kira Nguyen, on her upcoming graduation from Gulf Coast State College, where she will earn her A.S. in Dental Hygiene and A.S. in Business Administration.
While in school, Kira launched her own small business and coached Rutherford High School Volleyball—demonstrating exceptional leadership and drive. She will continue her education this fall at Florida State University, pursuing her Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Bark for Books is back for the spring semester!
Join Dog-Harmony and the Walton County Coastal Library for Bark for Books—a tail-waggingly fun way for kids to build confidence by reading aloud to a friendly therapy dog!
Held every Wednesday from 3:30–4:30 PM, January 14 through May 20, this unique literacy program gives children the chance to practice their reading skills in a calm, pressure-free environment—paired with one of our trained therapy dogs.
Reading to a nonjudgmental, furry friend helps children improve fluency, build self-esteem, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
This program is made possible through the generous support of the @stjoecommunityfoundation .

Just before the holiday break, Walton Education Foundation joined Walton County School District Superintendent A. Russell Hughes on an EPIC tour of Walton County to surprise and award six deserving teachers and educational support personnel on their campuses as nominees for Teacher and Educational Support Person of the Year.
For the third year, Walton Education Foundation was especially honored to be able to present each of the Top 3 Nominee recipients with a check award through a grant with our partner, @stjoecommunityfoundation .

Over $46,000 raised for Food for Thought by Walton County elementary students. "As education is one of the pillars of The St. Joe Community Foundation, we are always looking for ways to enhance educational opportunities for local children,” said April Wilkes, Executive Director of the St. Joe Community Foundation. “We are elated by the success of this program with the Walton County School District to encourage reading and provide a platform for students to give back to their communities.”
