How to reinvent a sense of longing? From 50s Mexico Ranchero, 60s Canto-bolero fusion, 90s Taipei Ballad, to 00s Chinese Breakbeat Rock, stitched together with poetry and sound bits we like, Pendulumii tries to answer this question in our 1st episode at RR by ferally swinging between sounds born of vastly different historical conjunctures.
Mixing with field recordings that facilitate dialogues, laughter, and ephemeral moments of intimacy, we also ruminate on the constant crossing of sound, music, and everyday lives.
