There is no better feeling than hearing that Stickybones has become a "game changer" for a fellow creator. We designed these figures to be the most sturdy, anatomically complex tools on the market specifically so they can keep up with your imagination—no matter how high you set the bar. Thank you, @terrence_x_ , for the incredible shout-out! Empowering artists to push their craft further is the core of our mission, and seeing them in action at #LostFoundStudios is a huge inspiration to the whole team. We love this sequence by @slyshand_maxpowercrafts ! The body mechanics here are incredibly tight—watching how the figure handles the weight transfer while staying low and controlled is a great lesson in athletic movement. The combination of smooth frame-by-frame timing and that moody, neon-lit environment makes this a standout piece of work. Excellent execution on a very difficult sequence!🎬👏 #Stickybones #StopMotion #Animation #BodyMechanics #CharacterMovement #StopFrame #AnimationProcess #AthleticPosing

𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒙 𝑴𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.🕺✨ Studying high-level choreography is one of the best ways to sharpen your animation skills. We love how @ptolemy_torney13 tackled this study, breaking down intricate dance steps frame by frame to capture the weight and rhythm of the sequence. When you're dealing with complex footwork and subtle torso mannerisms, having an armature that can hold those precise, off-balance poses is essential. This is a great example of using a reference to push the physical limits of a character. "Studying his dancing frame by frame makes you realize that he was moving out of his mind. Thanks @stickybones.pose , best pre-built armatures on the market🙏" — @ptolemy_torney13 What is the most difficult dance move you’ve ever tried to animate? Let’s talk shop in the comments! 👇

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.⚡ Here’s another great animation practice exercise from @nwarone . This sequence is a fantastic example of the Anticipation principle in action. Notice how the figure winds up or shifts its weight slightly before the main movement—this prepares the audience for what's coming and makes the final action feel much more grounded and realistic. Great work on these final exercises! It’s awesome to see how practicing these core fundamentals makes such a big difference in the fluidity of the character. "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔: 𝑼𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒚𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒓𝒆... 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕!" — @nwarone Which of the 12 principles of animation do you find the most satisfying to nail in a shot? Drop your thoughts in the comments!👇

𝑵𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒔. Animation is all about mastering how a character interacts with their environment. In this final exercise, @nwarone takes a Solar Flare Stickybones through a smooth sequence of climbing, weight shifting into a sit, and a final wave. A great reminder that technical practice is what leads to fluid, lifelike movement. Great job on the weight distribution and timing! 👏 "Using the famous Stickybones figure and having a blast!" — @nwarone Which animation exercise do you find the most challenging: the walk cycle, the climb, or the heavy-lift? Let us know your thoughts below!👇

"𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 4𝒕𝒉 𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔." — @jordantipsthescale This shot by @jordantipsthescale is an excellent case study in integrating props and lighting to build a character. This setup features: 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈: Great interaction between the figures, capturing high-tension movement. 𝑪𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 & 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆: Perfectly timed for #MayThe4th with those dual-blade sabers and fabric robes. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: We love seeing items from the Medieval Pack used creatively. Note the reuse of the Satchel and the helmet choice on the figure to the right. 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅! Thanks for sharing your process and the result with us. 📸 What’s your go-to method for integrating custom fabrics or props into your Stickybones photos? Let us know in the comments!👇

If something inspires you, study it. Break it apart frame by frame, pose by pose, beat by beat. Figure out the timing, the silhouettes, and the little choices that make it all come alive. That’s one of the best animation exercises there is. Love seeing this creator study in motion by @moxtacala , with a nod to the iconic style of @aardmananimations

A figure can become anything you imagine, and this handmade mask takes it somewhere totally unexpected. Wild, expressive, a little eerie, and full of personality, it’s the kind of creative touch that instantly turns a simple pose into a whole story. We’d love to see more people make their own masks, build props, customize looks, and experiment with characters like this. Stickybones is made for that kind of creativity, where one idea can lead to something completely original. Amazing work by @nazaninanaloiie

The body mechanics here are next level. ✨ Huge shoutout to @animatable_alex for capturing such disciplined, sharp movements and keeping them locked into the tempo. Seeing Stickybones move with this much control and soul is what great animation is all about.

That cinematic impact!🎬 @slyshand_maxpowercrafts is bringing some serious karate energy to the table with this duo. Whether the rigs are brand new or have seen a thousand poses, they still deliver that incredible tension and movement needed for a top-tier action movie scene.

#animation #stopmotion #acting #stopmotionanimation #shrek @stickybones.pose @taller_del_chucho
