More Music Alumni Amanda Hardy and Zje Mongol will be making their way to the NW Folklife Stage next Friday at the Mural Stage for a very special More Music pop up performance 🎶✨
@amanda_from_bexley is a songwriter/musician from the PNW 🏔️Growing up surrounded by music from the area, she found herself drawn to beautiful, haunting harmonies and powerful lyrics. Those themes became a staple in her writing as she built her music career playing in various bands and eventually moving down to LA where she formed her rock band @bexley_official 🤘
@zjemongol is a Mongolian folk and world music ensemble based in Seattle, Washington, founded in 2020 by siblings Anu-Ujin, Temuulen, and Temuujin Batbaatar. 🎵 United by family and music, the group blends ancestral sounds with modern expression, bringing the soul of the Mongolian steppe to audiences across the United States ⭐️

Tonight is opening night for Phantom of the Opera in Seattle, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: by going Beyond the Pit at The Paramount Theatre! 🎭🎶
STG’s Beyond the Pit is a free opportunity to observe a professional Broadway orchestra rehearsal. Participants can follow along by using sheet music provided by STG’s Music Director Jack Klitzman, or sit back and enjoy the beauty of observing local and touring musicians rehearse together for the first time to make Broadway magic ✨
