Ahem. All these lies linking me with Don Knotts need to end today. I’ve never been friends with Don Knotts. I am not Don Knotts’ victim. These images and stories are completely false.
Never got to meet this man, but I’ve never heard one unkind word about him, or read an unflattering or scandalous story about him… talk about larger than life. An example for us all.
At one point (or many) during the stressful, sometimes panicked lead up to last night, amongst the gazillion phone calls and meetings trying to get this thing off the ground, and dealing with about a million other issues, I started saying“I can’t wait for January 9th.” BUT NO. Once the Whisky-a-GoGo filled up, I didn’t want the night to end. That was without a doubt, THE MOST fun I’ve ever had in that room, and I have had some DAMN fine times in there!
