Happy Birthday to my beautiful and wonderful sister, Roz Pactor! (@myredglasses )
From the very beginning, you’ve been one of the strongest and most loving people in my life. You’ve always been there for me, and I’m so grateful for your love and support.
Family means everything to me, and I’m lucky to have you as my sister.
I’m so grateful for all of the memories that we’ve shared together over the years and for the incredible bond we continue to have today.
Wishing you a beautiful birthday filled with joy, laughter, and love from each and every one of us who knows how truly special you are.
Love you, Sis ❤️❤️

Today marks my 7 year work anniversary!!
@stevetyrell you have been such a shining light in my life and I am so grateful to have you in it.
We’ve had some pretty incredible adventures together: performing at Café Carlyle, The Jazz Cruise and in Monteverdi, Tuscany, to name a few. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
You’ve always said that you graduated from Bacharach University, and I feel honored to have attended Tyrell University.
You’re one of a kind and I couldn’t have had a better education in this business than the one I’ve received from you.
God Bless you, your family, and everyone who has made me feel welcome in your home and in your lives.
You’re one of my best friends and I’m beyond honored to have you in my life.
I love you, man. 🫡🥂

Hi everybody, I just heard the sad news about the passing of my dear friend, John Sterling.
John had a voice that was unmistakable, larger than life, and full of joy for the game. Some of my fondest memories are during those winter nights when he’d come by to hear me sing at @cafecarlyle . He didn’t have to be there, but he was. A true fan of music, and a loyal friend.
Off the mic, he was everything you’d hope: kind, thoughtful, and always ready with a smile and a story. We shared some wonderful evenings, and I’ll always be grateful for that time.
To my @yankees family, and to everyone who grew up hearing his voice… my heart is with you.
Rest easy, John. You called it like no one else ever could. 🎙️

I’m deeply saddened by the passing of my friend, @neilsedakamusic .
Neil was one of the truly great song writers of our time, a brilliant craftsman whose songs became part of the soundtrack of our lives. But beyond the hits and the accolades, he was a gracious gentleman and a dear friend.
I had the great joy of recording a duet with Neil on my Brill Building album, That Lovin’ Feelin’, where we sang his beautiful classic, “Laughter in the Rain.” Standing beside him and sharing that song was a moment I will always treasure.
We shared a deep love for great songs and the timeless tradition of storytelling through music. I will miss his warmth, his humor, and that extraordinary talent that made the whole world sing along.
The world has lost a legend. I’ve lost a dear friend.
Rest easy, Neil. The laughter and the music will live on forever.
~ Steve

Hello everyone, the past few days have been emotionally heavy for me as I am still wrapping my head around the loss of someone who was a longtime friend (and for many of you, the face and voice of my hometown, Houston, TX), the incomparable Dave Ward.
Dave was not only a cherished friend, but a gifted storyteller who believed in me and my work. Years ago, his vision and dedication led to a television special titled ‘A Houston Standard’ that honored my music and, to my great surprise and gratitude, resulted in the Lone Star Emmy Award in 2007. That moment will forever be tied to Dave and his spirit of generosity.
More than the award, I will treasure our friendship: the laughs, the loyalty, and the unwavering support he gave so freely. Dave had a rare way of lifting others up, often quietly, always sincerely.
Dave, thank you for always believing in me and for all the memories. You will be deeply missed and always remembered. 🕊️🙏🤍
Rest in peace, my dear friend.

My heart is heavy as I mourn the loss of my dear friend and one of the great icons of our time, Diane Keaton.
I had the privilege of knowing and working with Diane through Charles Shyer and Nancy Meyers on ‘Father of the Bride’, ‘Father of the Bride, Part II’ and ‘Something’s Gotta Give.’
Diane was one of a kind: full of light, humor, and warmth. She had a gift for making everyone around her feel at ease, and her talent was as effortless as it was extraordinary. She was a joy to work with, a joy to know, and a true original, both on and off screen.
Diane, thank you for the laughter, the heart, and the inspiration you gave to all of us. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever live on in the stories you helped tell.
Rest in peace, my dear friend.
