This Saturday is a very special day for me. My long-time heroes Modeselektor are playing a live gig at Dockland and I’ll be playing the warm-up set for the lads. After that, I’ll be playing the opening set at Fusion Club from 10pm. Followed by @robag_wruhme , @mira.berlin.ofc and @marcomesem . So, another top-class line-up ahead! The story behind Monopark Events is pretty straightforward. Everything was said here. With Monopark Music, I created a platform for myself to release my own music, which has been gathering dust on my hard drive for many years. There‘s lots of different styles: techno, minimal techno, acid, electro, house… many are short tracks of around two minutes. Back then, I lacked the knowledge to develop them further, but I’ve been able to deepen that knowledge over the last years. 🥳 I’ve opened these projects up from time to time over the last few months and carried on working on them. However, without bringing them up to the current standard of the „club sound“. I thought to myself, „What’s the point of them just lying around here? Nothing.“ I’d played many tracks to friends from time to time and their feedback was my motivation. So, „release them or not“ was the question for me… so this is happening now 😅 Then there are my „other“ releases, such as those for Stil vor Talent, Katermukke or Traum. Built from scratch, and a lot more work went into them. I also received some help with mixing here and there. Now I’m pushing things forward. I really don’t care about different styles. HERE (Between Yesterday and Tomorrow) I’ve been working on this track, which was basically two tracks, for over two years. It was finally finished at the end of 2024, and I wasn’t sure whether to release it or not. Well, after getting some good, honest feedback, I thought, what the heck, I’ll do it myself. Here it is.
