It’s that time of the year bring on the bunya nut feast!
Was so fun to spend the day prepping our bunya nut seeds.
We plucked the seeds, soaked them in salty water and then put them on the fire and ate them right out of the shell salty and charcoal so delicious.
Bush food is the best seasonal nutritious and so versatile!
I will be doing a bush food workshop with Uncle Frank January 29th as part of the school holiday program at murwillumbah community centre.
