𝘓𝘖𝘚 𝘈𝘕𝘎𝘌𝘓𝘌𝘚 〰 Loving this 1994 press photo of 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦, the ambient supergroup featuring Steve Roach (@steveroachofficial ), Suso Sáiz (@suso_saiz ), and the late Jorge Reyes.  Their astonishing, mystical sound was no accident. From Reyes’ explorations of pre-Colombian musical traditions, to Sáiz’s shoegaze cloud guitar, to Roach’s synths and wind instruments, the trio’s Fourth World project syncretized their personal narratives into a singular flow. From their Earth Island LP (1994) liner notes on Hearts of Space Records: “For Roach, Reyes and Sáiz, there were no boundaries, only waves of sound splashing against the big island we call earth, washing relics from some distant clan onto new shores, eroding the conventions of the present and carrying the remains out to sea.” On Saturday, June 6, 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗩𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛 joins Reflections LA for a very special night at Immanuel Presbyterian Church.
