A friend, a teammate, a mime… Marcelo was one of the most talented people I got to know.
He had a way of bringing light into every room. On 14-hour shoot days, when everyone was exhausted; his energy & humor made everything feel easier. Being around him was effortless - he made it all better.
It hurts knowing how much more he had ahead of him. So many dreams. So many plans. I still can’t process how it all just ended like this.
I keep thinking about the night we were in a hotel room in the middle of nowhere in India when I got the text from my dad that my mom had died. I was thousands of miles away from my family, living my worst nightmare. Marcelo stayed up with me the entire night. He didn’t leave my side. He did what he always did best - he comforted, listened, & somehow even made me smile in one of the darkest moments of my life.
I pray that everyone who knew him can feel the same warmth of his spirit that carried me through that night.
Souls like his are rare - genuine, kind, & deeply authentic.
You were too good for this world, Marce. Our journeys will always feel incomplete without you. Until we meet again. Rest in paradise. 🕊️ @marcepedrozo
