I can’t believe I got to perform for members of the US figure skating team last night at @andjulietbway . I’ve been a big figure skating fan all my life, and to meet so many people I’m in awe of all at once was a dream. Congrats to all of you on an inspiring season, complete with Olympic gold medals! Broadway Backwards 2026 would have been nothing without associate MDs @gonz0_kindofamuppet and @annaplayspiano . The amount of work they put in was massive, plus they conducted and played beautifully during the show. They made this process such a joy for me. Another event where I took no pictures! 😜 Being the music director for the 20th edition of Broadway Backwards was a thrill and a half. Having my name on the title page not once but twice is such an honor. Conducting Broadway royalty like Nancy Dussault (among many more stars) at the Gershwin Theatre was a dream. Raising so much money for an incredible cause by making some music is beyond anything I could imagine. Thank you to @tedrarthur and @marymitchellc for your guidance and total trust; I’m grateful you thought I could do this. Without my associate MDs @annaplayspiano and @gonz0_kindofamuppet , I wouldn’t have survived this process (or laughed so much). This musical endeavor took an incredible amount of people to put together, and I’m happy to have shared this with all of the conductors, orchestrators, rehearsal pianists, copyists, programmers, and music assistants who worked tirelessly to make it across the finish line. We had the best orchestra on Broadway. Countless more in every department, on all sides, onstage and offstage, in and out of the rehearsal rooms, working remotely… A huge effort from all culminating in a huge success of an evening. I’m lucky to have been a part of it. Thank you thank you thank you. We’re still in @broadwaycares collecting season across the NYC theatre community, so if you see a show in the next several weeks, please consider giving even just a little bit.

9 years! it hasn’t really felt like The Most Wonderful Time of the Year™️this year, but I’m happy to spend today with my favorite person doing things we love [seeing Victoria Clark sing, eating pizza, seeing the Rockettes]. there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing or anyone I’d rather be doing it with

G-R-A-T-E-F-U-L to be part of this awesome music team of @spellingbeenyc ! From the OG herself @carmiedean to our intrepid MD @elizabethedoran to these musicians who make me laugh every day (@cellosasha , @davidmannmusic , and @dobson321 ), this has been such a joyful process, and I look forward to our newly-extended run together. It seems we’re living out our dreams, which is a very nice beginning! We celebrated last night, and @spellingbeenyc officially opens tonight! As you can see, I’m having the best time with this show and these people. Come spell with us! 💙🐝

I’ve had a B-L-A-S-T during the first week of rehearsals for @spellingbeenyc ! It’s a room filled with joy and laughter, and I’m learning to embrace the awkward kid that I still am (and definitely not reliving past traumas of losing two spelling bees on technicalities). Come see us at New World Stages beginning November 7!

“I’ve been so lucky. I am the girl with golden hair.” ABBA is my favorite band. Mamma Mia! is my dream show to play. I can’t believe I just played it for the first time, and on Broadway! An actual dream come true. Thanks to @wvdmusic and @mattcroftmusic for taking a chance on me. “What a joy, what a life, what a chance…”
