I was lucky enough to photography the culinary legend that is @alexandrenicolas01 and his team yesterday in the kitchen at @theparklondon with @kanyinsolaap . I thought the energy of a professional kitchen during service would lend itself to a black and white, documentary style look, I even added some film grain in @captureone to complete the look.

Street scene in the City of London.
I was leading a street photography walk in the city today and talking about some of the greatest photographers currently working in the genre. I was referencing the iconic shot by @mattu1 with the pigeon, and got fairly lucky with this shot. Imitation is after all the sincerest form of flattery!

I do like the guided sessions, you meet people with the same interest in a calm environment where you have the space to be creative, the coach comes to you to give you feedback, pointers, fix your settings, and if nothing else it does give you the validation that after a while you do start to know what you are doing with it!

View towards London’s Docklands across the river Thames at night, taken on my iPhone during a workshop I was running last night.
After a day of constant rain, there was a lot of cloud cover which provided dramatic reflection of the lights from the buildings.
