Our 3rd fabulous reader for our “The Earth is on Fire! Now What?” show on Thursday March 26th at the Pleasant (2434 Main Street) has many hats. I just call him the guy who convinced me to do a Master’s over a 45 minute bus ride down from Burnaby Mountain.

The content of the evening will centre itself around the severity and hilarity of what we do now. How do we compose ourselves while the earth is metaphorically and literally on fire?
Because of the illegal and unprovoked war of aggression against Iran, our designer Hamed Jaberha is currently under bombardment in Tehran. For that reason we cannot prepare our usual design for this announcement. Hamed, hang in there. We are all thinking about you.
Still, we gather.
Join us for an online reading and gathering with poets whose recent books were published by Pamenar Press and designed by Hamed.
Since we are scattered across the world, the only way to meet is to get online together.
Julie Carr joining from Denver
Stephen Collis from Vancouver
Jessica Pujol Duran from Santiago, Chile
Ágnes Lehóczky from Sheffield, UK
Hosted by Laura Akator.
They will read from their recent books published by Pamenar Press.
