Hello, everyone! I’m proud to announce the launch of @stepswithjay 's Intensive K, a 3-hour intensive program designed for those ready for the next level. For a long time, K-pop cover dance was seen merely as a hobby or a subculture among K-pop fans. But the world has changed. Today, they are leading their own classes, working as professional dancers, and becoming event organizers to host events with K-artists. In addition, they are debuting in global groups and shaping the culture themselves as creators. It’s time to move beyond just 'covering' and step into being a 'K-pop Dancer.' Intensive K is not just about learning steps; it’s about finding your own voice within K-pop and developing the professional artistry you need to stand out. Stop being a spectator—become the main character of the stage you love. This immersive experience will be your first step toward a professional reality. Ready to claim your title as a K-pop Dancer? Drop your country and city in the comments below. I’m coming to see the next generation of K-pop. #stepswithjay

2024 K-POP World Festival EgyptđŸ„‡ They produced this achievement in a week with @jaykiman . What's more important than the time you spend on practice is effective practice methods. For effective practice, it is very important to know practice points such as how to connect with music through the texture of movement, how to understand and effectively express the mood change of music and the overall flow of the performance, and how to improve synchronization during group dance. @stepswithjay will broaden your perspective on what you haven't seen before and change your whole way of thinking about dancing.

✹ Special thanks to @jaykiman for this collaboration !

If you have experience in group performances, you already know that synchronizing movements is not easy. These challenges often arise because the choreography analysis stage is skipped, or when a specific member teaches the choreography without conveying the nuances and textures of the movements, focusing only on the motions themselves. As a result, members may perform with different movement qualities, speeds, and energy levels, which not only affects the overall performance but also requires more time to practice. The 'Synchronization' curriculum in @stepswithjay ’s Intensive K program is designed to address this by helping participants understand synchronization not just in terms of movement angles, but also timing, feel, and energy, ultimately enhancing the completeness of group performances. Additionally, participants are trained to quickly adapt to unfamiliar environments through experiences of working in group activities with new people. It also enables them to identify areas for improvement compared to their existing practice methods and apply these insights in real performance situations.

[Before/After] Meet Sarah! She is based in France, and participated as a mentee in online mentorship program during the first half of last year. She practiced this choreography to apply for the first preliminary round of a K-pop competition, and after a session with @jaykiman , she achieved noticeable improvement and successfully advanced through the first preliminary round. In competitions, choosing the choreography is just as important as skill, and it requires a strategic plan and customized training to understand your strengths and showcase them through your performance. Experience it firsthand through @stepswithjay ‘s online mentorship program starting in the first half of 2026!

They used the 8 count movements they created before listening to the music to choreograph with a partner to the song, adding movement texture and emotional expression, ultimately crafting their very first original choreography. If you’re having trouble turning the ideas in your head into choreography, try creating your first choreography through @stepswithjay .

The reason why I was able to grow as a choreographer in a short time was because I focused on finding and developing my own style. @stepswithjay will be the first step in the process of finding your own style and developing a plan and strategy that combines training and business.
