delighted to have won the John Ireland Prize 2026 Instrumental Chamber Music with @raphael.hitchen
we’ve been talking about playing the Ireland Sonata together since our first year at Severn Point... and we won the prize with the piece yesterday! (we made it before graduating from college lol)
big thanks to @chevalier_luc_ for saying yes to page turning for me at the last minute. and to my teacher Michael, coaches Catherine and Rob for the guidance.
also congrats to johnathan and will for winning the song prize! and to everyone who played in the finals, smashed it!
so after performing in my major chamber exam last month…
we’re looking forward to performing Brahms Piano Quartet No. 1 in G Minor in the Wye Valley Music Chamber Concert Series this Sunday 22/3 3pm at St Mary the Virgin Church, St Briavels, GL15 6RG.
we’re also planning more concerts in Cardiff this summer! x
