Hello, I’m cancer free! I haven’t posted in over a year. It’s Spring time and the magnolias are blooming. Tomatoes and Summer vegetables are planted. The kudzu is starting to resume its place in the South. I’ve been painting a lot in oil this past year. Paintings I’ll share soon. ✌🏼
Time to share. I was recently diagnosed with CLL cancer. The type of leukemia I have is very treatable and I’m in excellent care here in Atlanta. These two pictures were taken from my hospital room, the sun coming up over Atlanta. Always darker before the dawn. I’m home and doing okay. I’ll be starting treatment this month. It’s hard to talk about it so this is all I have to say for now. I wanted to make a post in case it connects with someone who’s dealing with a health issue or someone who cares for someone who’s dealing with health issues. You’re all heroes. I’m painting up a storm and have a series of works in oil I’m hoping to share this year. Hold your loved ones close. ✌🏼💚
