Aragorn “son of Arathorn” Cone-Rogers (2006/7(?) - November 17th 2022)
Known to most as Aragon, known to some as Chonk, always the lowest grumpy puff to roam the streets of Chicago. He was a deep lover of treats and walks with an insatiable hate for motorcycles and planes. He flopped and bounced along by our side for almost sixteen years, rolling in bear poop, scooping up mouthfuls of dirt and patiently waiting for us to catch up at every turn. He counseled us and consoled us and was always so damn excited to see us after a long day. He saved our lives.
In his early years he enjoyed parks and woodland walks. In the latter, he liked naps, gliding on pontoon boats and eating his kibble.
He was the most special thing that has ever happened and gave us love and purpose along the way. We are very grateful to have been honored by his presence on this earth. Long May he reign in whatever land he now romps on.

The Wise Kids, Henry Gamble's Birthday Party and Princess Cyd are now streaming on MUBI in North America and much of the world (!). @mubi is a genuine force for good in the universe of cinema, and I'm deeply grateful these labors of love have found a welcoming home there.
Happy first Mother's Day to my little sister (!!!) and non-first Mother's Day to my Mom. I love them both so much and am over the moon they got to spend this weekend together. 😍
