👋A bit late to the party but here we are, thought I'd introduce myself!
I'm Steph Cook.. but my friends call me Cookie.
A bit about me, I live in Sydney Australia and have a thing for good coffee and authentic Mediterranean food. I love everything about nature, spending time outdoors, animals (including insects), swimming, tennis, singing and just playing in general. I love to garden and ground any chance I get.
I have a kelpie/collie named Thor, a few chickens and some goldfish and koi. I live in the suburbs but imagine I own a homestead in the country😄 I love making sourdough bread and eating it too! I also enjoy trying new things and exploring new places.
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a kid, but only this year I decided to take my passion of art to the next level (and so created this page) and start sharing my art with the world. I like to play around with different mediums and experiment with different styles. I am currently creating a small collection of paintings and will be sharing more art with you soon.
I hope my art brings you joy and inspiration, the same way nature does for me.

What I do NOW when I have an idea for a new painting.. 💬
I get it down on paper ASAP
In the past I would think, Ill remember it later (and never did)
Or late at night if something came to mind I would convince myself I would write it down in the morning (never happened)
A few years ago I bought myself a sketch book and called it CONCEPTS THUMBNAILS & PALETTES... this is the place where I throw all my ideas in and I must admit so far I have attempted 100% of those ideas. Whether they turned out how I hoped is another thing, but the point is.. a thought or an idea will never become anything if you dont act on it.
If you're a creative who struggles with executing your creative visions (like I was) I hope this helps.. because your art matters❤
