Spring work day is all in and all done! This day brought some crazy thick fog but also some cooler temps, which was greatly appreciated. Today’s focus was all on overall herd health and to make sure our females and our calves are in the best shape possible. We pulled blood for preg-checks, we evaluated all of our females mouths (checked their teeth), we applied some health and wellness meds and we gave our calves the last little push they needed - to ensure they will continue to be healthy and ready to go when it’s time to ship. We sure appreciate all of the cowboys that come to lend a hand, they truly make things run smoothly!

On National Ag Day, we’re reflecting on a great day spent in the cow pens yesterday. Our family crew may have been small, but we were fortunate to work alongside some of the best cowboys around, helping care for the cattle we’re proud to raise.
The work can be tough and the hours long, but we never lose sight of what a true gift ranching is. Raising healthy, happy cattle is always our goal—because providing a safe, wholesome, nutritious product for your family and ours is what it’s all about.

Several years ago he told me he wanted to become a Certified Ringman and I thought YES, this is gonna awesome! Well…it IS in fact amazing watching him ring sales…except sometimes he just flat refuses to take my bid and I think that’s just rude!
So proud of this man for chasing a dream! He will help sell most anything, but it especially warms my heart to be able to be in the audience when his passion to help youth get the MOST they can for their projects truly shines through!

My boy @tuckconrad is absolutely eat up with all things duck hunting, so I was SO excited when he asked me to tag along with him and Jason for the last hunt of the year. 🦆 It was my first time ever in a duck blind—and not gonna lie, I was a little nervous! Safe to say this won’t be my last trip… although I’ll definitely be sharpening up my shooting skills before next season. Feeling super thankful for the harvest, the memories, and the time together with my guys!

Christmas for the Conrad fam looked a little different than it has the last 27 years. Change is scary, routine is easy, traditions make it hard to accept a shift in how they are continued….but when we give it a chance, there is more joy than you could ever imagine.
Since Anna was born, we have opened our home up on Christmas morning to grandparents, aunts, uncles, whomever wanted to watch the Christmas wonder through our kids eyes. We have made countless memories, laughed, cried, and always ate some great food! This year, as the next generation begins to pop up, Madilyn and Andrew did the inviting and welcomed grandparents, aunts, uncles and whomever wanted to join, to be there with Laykin and Deacon….so as a family, it was our turn to go. We laughed, I cried, countless memories were made and of course we ate some delicious food! The pace was slower and we sure missed seeing many of our family face to face….but my heart is so full! We are so blessed and are so grateful God gifted our lives with these 2 beautiful nuggets of joy! Watching Christmas wonder as a grandparent, being with your grown kids and making new memories in this season of life….well let’s just say you absolutely can’t put that into words.
It’s hard to capture all the goodness of our time in Lake Butler in just 90 seconds….but let’s give it a try! Hoping you and your family were blessed beyond measure, I know we sure were!

I shared this on the Bright Horizons YLPA Group, but since it’s private I couldn’t share it here on my page - so a whole post was In order! We had over 50 young ag enthusiasts in attendance last night!
Last night we had a wonderful packed house FRIENDSGIVING meeting and fun! We talked about how blessed we are to be in an area with so many amazing farmers and ranchers. We had some great discussions about the struggles they face, the wins that they hope to have, the important roles they play in the community and how vital they are to us in so many ways (some ways we see and many that we don’t). We are truly THANKFUL for our farmers and ranchers and the way they pour into the next generation of agriculturalists. Our members took some time to create some beautiful THANK YOU cards for our beloved farmers and ranchers, and we look forward to delivering those over the next few days. They also crafted Gratitude Jars to help them acknowledge the blessings they are thankful for each day leading up to Thanksgiving. We wrapped up the event with a BIG delicious meal, shared by all! I have to also mention that many of our members loaded up the donation table to help us meet the goal of our 2 community service projects - collecting food for local donation and collecting new/unwarpped toys/baby Items for a church that will be opening their doors to help families in need during this holiday season. Our members and families are truly Incredible!

Another year has flown by, but boy has it been one filled with so much fun! Watching you in your Happy Era has been a complete joy and I am so honored to be able to embrace this new season by your side.
