I was running a great pace for the first half marathon, finishing just over 2 hours but slowed in the second half and finished just over 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Isabella has started her new adventure at Queens University in Kingston. Such an exciting time for her! We miss her already. We can’t wait to hear about all her new experiences.
Tonight we celebrated 3 years since Edgar and Sasha first arrived in Canada from Ukraine🇨🇦🇺🇦
We are so fortunate that these four Ukrainians came to Canada and are so glad they are now family. We’re so proud of all they have accomplished and lovely lives they have made for themselves Canada.
Bella had an exciting weekend, attending her first summer training with the Queens University varsity cheer team. I’m so proud of her for jumping into a new sport and challenging herself. She made new friends, learned a lot about being a flyer and has all the bruises to show for it. @isabella.gendron

We are so fortunate to have great Moms and mother figures for us and our girls. Moms who show up, support and love unconditionally. Sisters who are always there for us and our girls. Friends who love our girls and celebrate them like their own. I am fortunate to be involved with so many wonderful Moms and amazing kids with my work and I am constantly learning from their examples.
I love being a Mom. It is such a privilge to be along for the ride and watch my girls turn into the people they want to be. I love my role as a teacher/mentor/cheerleader/support system for my students and will continue to show up and love unconditionally, just like my Mom continues to inspires me to do.
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms and mother figures who keep showing up for all the kids in their lives.
