Photography is essentially a personal matter—a search for inner truth.” For Stephan Goettlicher, A Different Time and Space (In My Universe) emerges from a shift inward—where light, time, and movement converge through a deeply personal, almost performative process of “creating” rather than taking photographs. Using black, non-reflective metal foil shaped through improvisational gestures—‘pas de deux’ between body and material—his images carry a theatrical resonance, capturing forms that feel suspended between sculpture and motion.
