This phenomenal athlete turned 22 years old last month, and now she’s an IFBB Bikini Pro To my knowledge she’s one of only a small select group to have achieved pro status while she’s still a junior athlete. What’s more is, she batted her Bikini Pro debut out of the park 30min later with a respectable 7th place, after her show peak was already fading and with her show tan and glaze from the first show - I’m really looking forward to see what she can manage after a full season without being in a deficit for show prep and a refined stage package for the pro league Well done @cheneninaber_ifbbpro - you made me shout my voice gone today I know it must have been daunting climbing on your first ever long haul flight outside of your home country, travelling alone to the opposite side of the globe, with flu, cancelled flights, declined Visas, last minute cancelled accommodation, malfunctioning scales and hair straighteners, a sim that just wouldn’t work and every other thing that could break or go wrong You were very brave throughout / well done- keeping a level head under all that pressure is pro-level stuff!!

4 days out from Pittsburgh 👹 Doing glutes with coach should honestly be a form of torture 👹😭😂 Feeling super shredded, exhausted and somehow still I’m pushing harder. Improvements have been made😏 This sport really teaches you what you’re capable of beyond fatigue and I’m loving it 🥹 Still wrapping my head around all of this… just grateful to have one of my last sessions in New York City at the @steveweinberger.bevsgym 🖤

5 days out from Pittsburgh 👹 Reflecting a lot lately. Feeling more tired than usual… but we still show up. This sport does something to you. You adjust. You breathe. You climb. And somehow, even when you feel empty, you still find another level👹

6 days out from Pittsburgh and honestly… I still can’t believe I’m here🥹 This whole experience has opened my eyes so much already. New environments, new gyms, new standards, new energy. It’s pushing me to evolve in ways I can already feel💪🏽 I know exactly what I want to bring next week:better conditioning, cleaner posing, more confidence and just a stronger version of me overall. Also genuinely just having a proper session @stephandt in person has been so exciting 😭😂 prep is serious but I’m actually having fun too. And @voltgym2026 … what a fvcking insane gym 👹 One thing about me? I’ll always romanticise the journey while chasing the goal🥹

I was so pleased to speak with the beautiful Figure Pro Ashleigh (Ash) Sherwood and her husband/coach Stephan at the NY Pro! This was Ash's pro debut, and she placed a respectable 4th in a very stacked class of amazing Figure ladies. Ash's is from South Africa, and this is her first trip to the USA. That’s a wrap on Ashleigh’s first Pro show. 4th place in one of the toughest shows on the whole calendar. I predict she will win the NYPro in the not too distant future. Very proud @_ashleighsherwood 👊👊
