So it turns out I may have downplayed the op ✌🏼🩺
Not intentionally at all, but I really did think it was a super simple, small lump removal! The scar / stitches etc would now suggest otherwise.
I thought I’d fly through recovery and that two weeks no driving was dramatic - but honestly, I don’t know who I was kidding when I joked that I’d be back in the gym by Wednesday!
It’s turned out to be a pretty chilled week of respecting the recovery rules, being cooked for, driven around and spending time in the sunshine pondering life, work and how to balance them better moving forwards ☀️ really… just what I needed! Kind of wondering how I could extend the retreat and add an extra week on.
Grateful to everyone who’s checked in, texted, offered to help, and dog walked with me this week 💛
Ps. As you can see, it’s been a really tough week for Winston, and he’s also recovering - from what I’m not sure.
