Still have the clear unscented shit for the ones who prefer it. I know Tattooers who have tried the gel recipe and hated it and then I have whole shops who love it and buy it in bulk. Everyone has different preferences and the stakes can be high with tattoo stencils. It works a little different and may need a learning curve using it. There’s been one or two complaints that the stencils come out lighter with using the gel. I could go either way but I mostly use the OG recipe personally which seems to be the fan favorite.
