Set & costume design for my first semester studio project The Drovers Wife, written by Leah Purcell, held in the State Theatre Centre Main Stage.
This is a violent erosion of one womans reality to reveal a sense of freedom and hope not known before. Molly lives in a world of limbo, uncertainty, where she is constantly having to defend herself and family. Until she meets Yadaka, who through violent circumstances helps her unveil her true past. She has to now confront an evolving duality, as first nations peoples are still navigating in today’s world.
