I'M OUT HERE IN MIAMI! what a lovely time at radioradio the radio. was struggling with my cdj skills in the beginning but it was still a crazy fun time! I'm really happy with some mixes! mixing pound town by @sexyyred to the fear by @bow.street.runner spontaneously mixing pour it up by rihanna to subsonic spell by bandido aaand also a mix of wish I didn't miss you by Angie Stone! together with mind by @laksaukmusic which works sooo well! feeling blessed to play in front of this orange circle! and would love to play more! so I'm very available for bookings :P and also a big thank you to Ilya, Ruben and Zachaar for the support <3 have a sunny day in this grey weather!

We warmly invite you to 'If this happens, then that happens' by Stella Sterk 🎉Opening🥂 Saturday 22 February, 18.00 - 21.00 👀Exhibition👀 February 28 - March 8 Friday & Saturday, 14:00 - 17:00 —————— If you twirl someone around while dancing, then they will smile If I ride my horse, then I will be happier When I was 21 years old I had my first farm. Mostly chicken produce. The eggs, not the meat. I also had a few cows and horses. Just as pets. That’s also the moment in my life when I stopped eating meat. If I’m 24 years old, then I’m 24 years young. Unfortunately I had to shut down my farm. For reasons I cannot write about here. But I did realize that it’s something I want to do when I’m older. Getting out of the city and into the fields. Hopefully there is less trash there. Hopefully I will still be inspired. If I find a piece of plastic, then I draw on it For three weeks I have been in Plan B. I moved all of my things in quite quickly. Most of it is trash. Things that I found on the street. I go around every evening, every night a different neighbourhood, looking for things that interest me. There is always a story somewhere. Who was the owner of this thing? Why did they throw it away? Why do I have it now? All questions that I never answer. I just take it. I work with my intuition. All the things I do are based on intuition (except for some rules). I think that’s why I like animals so much. I find different pieces of furniture, kids toys, bolts, screws, all souvenirs from the street. Sculptures are created from those objects and used as a canvas for all sorts of techniques. Through writing, additional layers are created. Stories about things that happened to me or to others. Stories that are real or completely made up. Dreams I have for the future or had for the past. If you read a very tiny text, then you look closer. If you read a very tiny text on the floor, then you squat down and look even more close.

I thought maybe I should post my graduation work here. Since it seems that this account is like an archive. And even though it's 2 years later! It doesn't matter when something is archived, but that it is. Here is a description of my work: Guidance for their curiosity, (2023) A site specific sculptural space was created, by interacting with flaws that are originally there and introducing the flaws of other related spaces. The objects used, formally abandoned semi-garbage, are instinctively adjusted and connected to each other, expanding their story. By continuously searching for something interesting in things that were discarded by others, I’m hoping to spark curiosity in people.
